Survey 2009 Excellence in Office Management What were Batman without Robin, Holmes without Watson or Derrick without Harry? And what were managers without their assistant? This is the question our survey "Excellence in Office Management" deals with. The survey was conducted from January until June 2009 and is completed now. At the moment the evaluation takes place. In November we will have the results which will show us among other things the contribution of the assistance service to help managers to focus on their business and how to give more importance to the assistance function.
The following key questions were answered by more than 450 assistances all over Germany:
1. In which areas can qualified assistance services relieve managers increasingly? 2. What are the challenges for assistants and how will the requirement profile change in future? 3. Are assistants satisfied with their position and tasks? 4. How much time can qualified assistants save for managers? 5. Is their idle potential in the back office and if so where? 6. Which systematic training methods can help to manage the rising requirements?
We surveyed Project-/and Executiveassistants of small, medium-sized and large-companies in different industries using an electronic questionnaire.
